HOME VISITS:

Home visits by Dr Agrawal are done only  for :
  • elderly patients and
  • for those patients who are unable to leave home due to restrictions to their physical mobility.

Under no other circumstances will a home-visit be possible. It is humbly appealed that no insistence is made for patients other than above two groups. ​
Following requests are made to the family members of patients seeking home visit :
  1. A home visit consumes a lot of time. This time is taken away from regular clinic hours and will affect other clients. It would be helpful if one is prepared in terms of previous medical reports prescriptions and medications ( even empty strips) kept ready for ready reference.
  2. Please do not offer tea/ coffee/ snacks or any other beverage to the doctor unless specifically requested by the doctor himself. We humbly respect your kind gesture but it will delay the doctor from reaching other clients.
  3. Many a times, the patient may be unwilling to see the doctor or may not be co-operative.  Please do understand that doctor cannot come to see your patient pretending to be a family friend; please do not make such a request.It is not possible to conduct a medical interview/ examination without letting know about your identity. More importantly, it is unethical medical practice and is likely to affect the building of  trusting relationship which is of utmost importance in our practice.
  4. Doctor usually will not be able to see agitated, uncooperative or aggressive patients on home visits; these patients are best seen in the emergency department of the hospital which is well equipped and has trained staff. For reasons of patients safety, need to monitor and medico-legal issues injectable medicines are routinely not given at patients' house unless the doctor is very familiar with the patient's medical history/ case details. 
  5. Doctor would prefer to drive himself to your place, you are requested to send clear directions. 
  6. Doctor's routine fees for home visit is Rs 2000/- ( two thousand only) for addresses in Panjim & Vasco. For home visits in any other place in Goa - kindly co-ordinate the fee directly by calling Antarman reception/ Doctor's phone. It is requested that the fee be kept in an envelope and handed over. If a bill/receipt for the home visit is needed - it will be given to you if informed beforehand or emailed/ posted to your address.
